NOVA TO SHOWCASE LIGHTING, ACCESSORY PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT AND TAILOR-MADE DESIGN CAPABILITIES DURING HD EXPO '09

HUNTINGTON PARK, CA (May 11, 2009) - Widely recognized for innovative lighting, wall décor, sculpture, and accent furniture design, NOVA continues to expand its product development services to meet the specialized needs of the hospitality market. Showing with Sitcom Furniture in booth #860 at the Sands Convention Center during the May 14-16, 2009 HD Expo, NOVA will showcase its range of thoroughly modern and accessible styles in a variety of woods, metals and glass.

Further strengthening and accelerating NOVA’s design capabilities, the company opened a prototype shop in Orange County to speed its design development turnaround times. In August of 2008, NOVA opened a factory in Tijuana, Mexico to speed its ability to do custom designs and fabrication of prototypes. As a result, NOVA can now turn around samples in 14 days in Mexico or Orange County.

ILLUMINATED SCREENS:
Part of NOVA’s Jon Gilmore Collection, these dramatic screens bring hand-brushed metal design elements together with rich finishes and soft light to offer casual, contemporary accents for any hotel or commercial setting. The Paradise Illuminated Screen Art design pictured left (style #GFL1463) measures 61”H x 14”W x 10”D. Warm, rich rootbeer tones provide the perfect frame for the bronze and brushed aluminum leaves, creating a soft tropical touch. This style includes 2-28W T5 fluorescent bulbs and an on/off step switch. For a more Asian-inspired look, the Bamboo Silhouette Screen pictured right (style SSG002), is sure to please. Measuring 72”h x 24” w x 12”d, this design, shown in a rootbeer finish, takes 2-35W T5 fluorescent bulbs and also includes an on/off step switch.

WALL DÉCOR
From clocks to hand-styled three-dimensional designs, NOVA offers limitless wall décor design options. Among the newest styles include the Roman Floating Clock pictured right (style # KDCO2). Measuring 36” w x 36”h, this eclectic design promises to add interest and intrigue to any décor. Shown in a hand-brushed aluminum finish. The rich textural look created with rust, silver and gray finish tones on the Sunburst City (style #WG40503) 3-Piece Wall Graphic (left), offers an inviting, warm accent. This design measures 40” height by 50” wide.

 

LIGHTING/ FIXTURES:
Mr. T Collection (left, right and below)- Contemporary in design, elegant in style, the Mr. T Collection mixes clean, straight lines with interesting textures and tones to offer simple, sophisticated accents for any design project. A contrast between light and dark, this uncomplicatedly stylish collection brings solid warmth and a modern look and feel to light. Featuring a dark wenge veneer finish, brushed nickel accents and white linen shades, each piece requires 60W candelabra base bulbs.
