FALL ’08 HIGH POINT LIGHTING INTROS FROM NOVA
Natural Looks, Sleek Lines Define October Market Offerings

HUNTINGTON PARK, CA (August 5, 2008) -- From the Far East to the river’s edge, the artisan and design team at NOVA has looked around the world to find the inspiration for the latest collections in the company’s growing casual contemporary accent lighting line.  Set to debut during the October 20-26, 2008 International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, NC, the new River Rock and Darma Collections, as well as a host of other lighting, home accent and wall décor designs, will be on view in IHFC Commerce Building, C403.

Capturing the smooth textures, colors and natural rounded looks of rocks aged and worn by river waters, pieces in this new lighting collection can bring a casually elegant accent to any room setting. Among the new designs are Table Lamps. Available in white eggshell finish with white linen shade or the dramatic matte black finish with black linen shade, the River RockTable Lamps are offered in two sizes. The larger measuring 22” high with a shadeof 10” x 18” – 11” x 19” x 10”V. Featuring a 3-way rotary switch, this style takes a 100W medium base bulb. The smaller design measures 22” high with a shade of 9” x 14” – 9” x 14” x 11”V, takes a 75W medium base bulb with on/off switch.

DARMA COLLECTION (right)  --
Reflecting the symmetry, tranquility and spirit of the Himalayan Valley that begins along the India-China border, lighting designs in the Darma Collection can bring a hint of foreign lands into today’s décor. Among the designs are Standing and Reclining Table Lamps.  Bold, yet simple lines in dark brown wood tones provide a striking contrast to the soft cream shade with dark brown trim accents. The Standing Table Lamp design is 27” high. The shade is 8” x 15” – 8” x 15” x 10”V.  The Reclining Table Lamp measures 20” with a shade of 8” x 17” – 8” x 17” x 10”V.  Both designs feature a 4-way rotary switch and use a 100W medium base bulb with a 15” night light (included). 

 

 

In addition to these new collections, other new designs scheduled to debut in October include:

CURVE FLOOR LAMP (left)  --Measuring 60” high, this soaring design brings pecan wood and brushed nickel finishes together with smooth curves and sleek lines. At 14” wide x 10”deep, the Curve Floor Lamp is versatile enough to work in virtually any size space.  Using a 35W T5 fluorescent bulb (included), the design has a convenient on/off step switch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

GEAR TABLE LAMP (right)  -- Transition any room into the next gear with these creative new Table and Accent Table Lamp designs.  Clever “gear” bases create a sense of movement with their sleek dark brown, brushed nickel finish and intricate design.  Design options include a 29” high table style with 16” x 16” x 10”V tan linen shade that uses a 150W medium base bulb controlled with 3-way rotary switch.  The Accent Table design is 18” high with a 11” x 11” x 9”V tan linen shade.  This design has an in-line on/off switch and uses at 60W medium base bulb.

 

 

 

 

 

NAPOLEON TABLE LAMP (left)  -- With a nod to the sleek Empire style that defined the 19th century furnishings of the Napoleonic era, this striking table lamp design brings a deep, masculine wood finish together with sharp lines for a dramatic look.  Finished in dark zebra wood and brushed nickel, the table lamp is 33” high with a Milena shade measuring 20” x 20” x 11”V.  The Napoleon design takes a 150W medium base bulb with a full range dimmer switch.
