NOVA REDUCING PRICES TO MEET CURRENT MARKET CONDITIONS

HUNTINGTON PARK, CA (February 5, 2009) - In an effort to build business for its retail partners in today's economic climate, NOVA is reducing wholesale pricing on all items in its contemporary lighting and home décor line effective immediately.

"We have all been affected by the current economic situation and need to work together to get through these challenging times," explains Daniel Edelist, CEO, NOVA. " With the recent reductions in commodity, fuel and labor costs in China and domestically, as well as the expanded capabilities of our new Mexico factory, we have been able to reduce our costs and we want to pass these savings on to our customers. Our original, artisan-quality designs have always helped our retail partners stand out from their competition and our hope is that this price reduction will bring even more attention to these stores and drive new business through the doors."

In September of 2008, California-based NOVA opened the doors to a new 20,000-square-foot manufacturing operation near the Otay Mesa border in Mexico. Expanding the company's product assortment and prototyping capabilities, while also streamlining logistical, freight, labor issues and costs, the new factory represented a coming home of sorts for the company. NOVA used to manufacture in Tecate and Tijuana from 1996 to 2001 when all production was moved to Taiwan and eventually mainland China.

To help spread the word spread about the new pricing structure, NOVA is sending out a letter and revised 2009 price list to all current customers. For additional information on pricing and products, retailers can contact the Nova offices at www.NOVAlamps.com, call 323.277.6266 or write 6323 Maywood Avenue, Huntington Park, CA 90255.
