NOVA BRINGS SIGNATURE JON GILMORE STYLE TO NEWEST LIGHTING DESIGNS SET TO DEBUT DURING SPRING 09 HIGH POINT MARKET

Gilmore’s Sweeping Design Lines, Sleek Hand-Brushed Aluminum Finishes Add Rich Looks to Latest Lighting Styles

HUNTINGTON PARK, CA (April 2009) – NOVA acquired Jon Gilmore Designs, Inc in 2007 as part of a full-scale expansion plan. Now Creative Director for NOVA, Jon Gilmore is bringing the same rich dimensionality and bold lines found in his popular wall art and accent furniture collection to new lighting designs. Set to debut during the Spring 09 International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, NC, the newest Jon Gilmore Collection lighting styles will be showcased in NOVA’s space at the IHFC Commerce Building - showroom C403.

Designs in the Jon Gilmore collection have traditionally ranged from wall décor to furniture products created out of handbrushed aluminum. The variation in brushing techniques suggests rich dimensionality and bold graphic patterns. Now expanding the collection to include more functional lighting designs, Gilmore’s casual contemporary stylings can be seen in a number of new designs, including:

Jezebel Table Lamp (10637 –left) and Floor Lamp
(JFL 4789 – right)
- Bold, curvaceous and just a little bit flirtatious, the new Jezebel table and floor lamps promise to make a dramatic room statement. Soft tones of rust and green flow across the base, rising up to meet the aluminum shade, which is finished in rust and apple. The table lamp measures 30”H while the floor lamp measures 59”H. Both lamps require 40W medium base bulbs and include 3-way rotary switches.
