Illuminated Screen Art Designs Join Growing Jon Gilmore Collection During June 25-28, 2009 edition in showroom 10020-WTC

HUNTINGTON PARK, CA (April 23, 2009) –Nova will unveil a new collection of illuminated screen art designs during the June 25-28, 2009 Dallas International Lighting Market. Part of the Jon Gilmore Collection, these dramatic pieces bring hand-brushed metal design elements together with rich finishes and soft light to offer casual, contemporary accents for today’s home. The newest lighting designs, as well as new wall décor and other home accents, will be on view in Nova’s corporate showroom at the Dallas Market Center -- #10020-WTC.

Nova acquired Jon Gilmore Designs, Inc. in 2007 as part of a full-scale expansion plan designed to take the company’s product offerings beyond portable lamps to include a complete lifestyle assortment of home accents and furnishings. Designs in the Jon Gilmore collection range from wall décor to furniture products created out of hand-brushed aluminum. The variation in brushing techniques suggests rich dimensionality and bold graphic patterns.

Among the new designs include:

Giselle Illuminated Screen Art (GFL 1461)(left)-
Inspired by the Giselle ballet, this screen captures a sense of movement and elegance. Measuring 61”H x 14”W x 10”D, the design blends rootbeer and bronze finishes for a rich look. Illuminated with 2-28W T5 fluorescent bulbs, the screen includes an on/off step switch.

Birch Forest Illuminated Screen Art (GFL 1462) (right)-
Soaring trees bring this illuminated screen design to life. Measuring 61”H x 14”W x 10”D, this style is accented with gunmetal and silver finishes and includes 2-28W T5 fluorescent bulbs and an on/off step switch.

 

 

City Scene Silhouette Screen (SSg003) (left)- Give yourself your own city view with this towering silhouette city scene screen. Measuring 72”h x 24”W x 12”D and finished in aluminum, this screen is a visual stunner. Includes 2-35W T5 fluorescent bulbs and an on/off step switch.

Tangents Illuminated Screen Art (GFL 1464 ) (right)-
Like its geometric namesake, this screen brings curves and straight lines together. The result–a simple, striking design. Elegant in its simplicity, this screen calls upon rust, bronze and silver finish tones to create a rich, textural look. Measuring 61”H x 14”W x 10”D, the screen takes 2-28W T5 fluorescent bulbs and includes an on/off step switch.

 

 

Palm Leaves Silhouette Screen (SSG001) (left)-
Adding warmth to any room with its illuminating glow, the Palm Leaves Silhouette Screen brings the outdoors inside with its alluring leaf motif. To complete the look, a dark rootbeer finish frames the design, which measures 72”H x 24”W x 12”D. Requires 2 –35W T5 fluorescent bulbs and includes an on/off step switch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

In addition to lighting, a number of new wall décor designs will also join the Jon Gilmore line-up, including:

Silver Birch (WG 40502) (left)- Three separate graphics-- featuring the same pattern with subtle differences -- come together to create a striking sense of texture and depth. Trees and branches in rich tones of gunmetal and silver create a modern contrast of light and dark. The design measures a total of 40” H x 50”W

 

 

 

 

Floating Clock- Modern (KDC01) (right)-
This modern timepiece calls upon aluminum-finished numbers to create the illusion of a floating clock. As fabulous as it is functional, this whimsical design can bring a touch of contemporary elegance to any room. Dimensions -- 36”H x 36”W.

 

 

 

 

Decoround Roman Clock (KDC03) (left)- A mixture of old and new, the Decoround Romn Clock brings roman numerals together with contemporary style. Measuring 36” H x 36”W, the timepiece is finished in rootbeer and bronze.
