STRIKING CONTRASTS, RICH TEXTURE DEFINE FALL 08 HIGH POINT  LIGHTING, HOME ACCENT INTROS FROM NOVA

HUNTINGTON PARK, CA (August 18, 2008) –NOVA continues to expand its lifestyle assortment of casual contemporary home accents with a number of new designs set to debut during October 20-26, 2008 International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, NC From three dimensional wall art to richly textured lighting styles, the newest accents bring innovative design together with affordable price points to appeal to today’s discerning customer.  These new designs, as well as other accent furniture, mirrors, clocks, wall graphics, lighting and more, will be on view in NOVA’s showroom at IHFC Commerce Building, C403.

New designs include:
Juxtapose Designs (left) – A study of light versusdark, the rich contrast of blackened steel and brushed nickel can create a dramatic design effect.  Carried out in new Table Lamp (left) and Table Top Sculpture (right) designs, the new Juxtapose design plays upon this striking color contrast, as wellas a textured, linear look, to bring a sense of dimension and drama to any room.  Measuring 28”H x 12”W x 7”D., the Juxtapose Table Top Sculpture features a matte black base.  At 30”H, the Juxtapose Table Lamp is complemented by its white Linen shade (9” x 14” – 10” x 15” x 10”V). This design takes a 100W medium base bulb and features a 3-way rotary switch. 

 

Synergy Wall Art (set of 2) (right) –Crafted from antique brass steel, striped grind steel and antique bronze, the two pieces in this set come together to create a striking visual effect.  The curving lines and alternating textures draw the eye in, while the interplay of metals radiate outward to add a touch elegance and drama to any room.  The design measures 22”H x 45” W x 2”D.

 

 

 

 

 

Pirouette Table Top Sculpture (left)- Circular designs crafted from flame treated steel in alternating sizes and textures seem to float, twist and turn upward to create a sense of movement and flow.   Measuring 22”H x 9” W x 7” D atop a matte black base, this dramatic tabletop sculpture can bring an appealing textural accent to any room décor.

Graceful Table Lamp (right)-  True to its name, this lamp exudes grace and style as it brings soft grind steel and brushed nickel together with smooth curves to express energy and motion in metal. Finished with a white linen shade (7” x 9” x 9”V) and matte black base, the Graceful Table Lamp uses a 60W medium base bulb and includes a 3-way rotary switch.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Divide Lamp (left)-The sleek sophistication of the new Divide lamp design is rooted in simplicity.  The base features dark wiped wood rectangles divided by brushed nickel accents for a casually elegant look. Soft light coming through a simple, white linen shade (8” x 18” – 8” x 18” x 10”V) completes the look. Offered in two different sizes, the standing table lamp measures 32” H while the reclining table lamp measures 25” H.  Both lamps use a 75w medium base bulb and include a 3-way rotary switch.

 

Ranunculus Accent Table Lamp (right)- Brighten up any room with this light and airy accent table lamp. Calling upon white wood, brushed nickel, and mirror accents to reflect the multi-layered petals of the Ranunculus flower, this delightful design can truly bring a touch of the garden into today’s home.
